Be Yourself

Twitter made me realize the importance of being yourself.

I know it may sound weird, but this is what literally happened.

I'll explain why.

I’ve started my Twitter journey half a year ago.

When I started it, I had a glimpse of what I was going to write about, but had no clue how to do it.

All I knew was that I would write about topics I enjoy.

But it was not sufficient.

But Diana, what do you mean by that?

Well, besides the topics that you write about, the brand that you are creating is equally as important.

At some point, I was barely gaining any followers.

And I realized the problem.

I was actually not being myself.

From the ugly dove that I had as a PFP to the colors I was using in my graphics, I didn’t recognize myself at all in these things.

That’s when I started to completely rebrand my profile.

What did I change to it? Well, everything:

• Bio

• Banner

• Pinned Tweet

• Profile picture

• Getting Twitter Blue

• The colors I was using

And immediately after, I started seeing results:

I know a lot of people are overlooking these things, but I realized how important they were after seeing my growth.

I know it may not mean a lot to many people, but for me it is.

Getting 1% better everyday. 😄 

I know most of the people in web3 are having cartoon animal jpegs as PFPs, but as long as you are planning to build a serious brand around yourself and you have nothing to hide, why not have your face as a PFP?

I recommend you to do A/B testing.

A/B testing is a method used to compare two different versions of something, in our case the BIO, to see which one performs better.

It involves showing one version of the BIO, called A, to a group of people, and another version, called B, to another group.

By comparing the results, such as how many people click on the follow button, you can determine which version is more effective.
